Fulong Beach is located at Fulong Village, Gongliao Township Taipei City at Northeastern Taiwan. The sands there are golden, which is rare in Taiwan. This beach is a favorite in the summer for people living in northern Taiwan. During summer months the entrance fee is NT$100 for adults and NT$10 for kids. This includes access to the beach as well as use of showers, changing rooms etc. This does not include rental of miniature sailboats, canoes, boogie boards, beach umbrellas or sunshade tents/awnings.
The Shuang River divides the beach into inner and outer parts. There is a footbridge named Rainbow Bridge (pictures shown above) linking the two parts. This bridge is the only way to go to the beach, so people should pass this bridge.
This is Fulong station (photos above). Fulong beach is accessible by railway, bus, and by car. We preferred to take the train considering that it is only a one stop destination. It was a very adventurous trip considering that we had ridden the wrong train, so we need to transfer to the right one. So make sure that the train you are riding will pass Fulong station.
This is the main entrance of the beach. At the left side, you can find a ticket booth where you can buy the ticket that costs NT$100 for adults, NT$80 for students, and NT$10 for kids.
When you get inside of the beach, you can rent sun umbrellas. Sun umbrella is NT$500 with NT$100 returned deposit when you leave. Completely worth it in my opinion, as there are no shaded areas on the entire beach.
Below is a slideshow of our Fulong trip, hope you'll enjoy guyz...
