Boracay

Boracay is a small island in the Philippines, located approximately 315 km south of Manila. Boracay island and its white sand beaches have received awards from numerous travel publications. Apart from its white sand beaches, Boracay is also famous for being one of the world's top destinations for ralaxation. It is also emerging among the top destinations for tranquility and nightlife. So, if you're traveling from Manila by plane you can take Cebu Pacific Air (Manila-Caticlan or Manila-Kalibo), PAL express (Manila-Kalibo or Manila-Caticlan) and Zest Air (Manila-Kalibo). Buses are available as you arrive at the Kalibo airport and travel directly to Caticlan (the gateway to Boracay Island). There are several L300 vans waiting at the airport for a possible passengers that travels directly to Caticlan. For information, some hotels and resorts have their own service to transport their respective clients. If you are planning to book for a hotel accommodation, you can ask also if they have transport services.

From here, 1 Km Boat Trip to Boracay island. Upon arriving here (gateway to Boracay Island) you will go inside the Caticlan Jetty port building where you can purchase your boat ticket. Actually, there are 3 tickets you need to pay: your boat ticket (25 pesos), Environmental Fee ticket (75 pesos), terminal fee ticket (100 pesos)
There are several boats that travel to and from to Boracay with only few minutes interval.

There are several hotels you can choose to stay, these 2 are my recommendations, but if you're in a budget you can go to station 3 where you can get cheaper shared rooms around 500-1000 php a day.

If you're a fan of scuba diving, you can go to this place - WaterColors Boracay Diving Resort.

Then you can enjoy the adrenalin rush on a banana boat ride for about 1,200-1,500 php good for five.

You can relax or read a book while lying on this wooden and very relaxing bed and have a glass of orange or mango juice.

And if you got hungry while strolling the island, you can drop by at Cafe Christina.
